Full feature guide

Four moves most users miss.

The basics get you calling. These four small habits — picked up on Day 2 instead of Day 30 — are what turn CallMama from "an app on the phone" into "the way I handle every call now".

01

Save numbers as contacts

Tap any recent call → "Save as contact". Caller ID will show the name on every future call from that number.

02

Pin email alerts

Voicemail alerts in your email inbox mean you know about missed calls in seconds — even when the app is closed.

03

Use multiple numbers

Add a virtual number for each market or use case. Caller ID per-call lets you choose which one shows on outbound.

04

Sync across devices

Sign in on the web app + mobile simultaneously. Settings change on one and apply everywhere within seconds.

Frequently asked.

How long does CallMama setup actually take?
Most users complete the foundation steps (install → sign up → add credit → first call) within 5 minutes. Adding a virtual number, voicemail, forwarding, and recording on top of that adds another 5–10 minutes for a fully configured account.
Do I need a credit card to download CallMama?
No. Downloading and creating an account is completely free. A payment method is required only when you add calling credit or pick a subscription plan.
Can I skip steps and add features later?
Yes. The setup is modular — install + sign up + credit are the only required steps for calling. Virtual numbers, voicemail, forwarding, and recording can each be enabled whenever you need them.
Where can I get help if something is not working?
Live chat inside the app gives the fastest reply. The full Help & Support center at callmama.com/help-and-support/ has setup guides and troubleshooting articles. For everything else, callmama.com/contact-us/.
Can I use CallMama on multiple devices at the same time?
Yes. One account works on iOS, Android, and the web app simultaneously — all data, settings, and history sync in real time.
Do I need to verify my real phone number to use CallMama?
No. CallMama uses email verification at signup. You can use the service entirely without entering a real phone number — useful when you want to keep your personal number private.
